Camping America's National Parks

America's National Parks offer the camper a vast array of scenery and experiences. America has millions of acres set aside for public use. Much of this land is pristine wilderness. Wildlife abounds in its natural setting. These parks are maintained by the US Governments National Park Service. Most of them have Park Rangers on duty 24 hours a day that provide information, assistance and security to the camper. The parks were chosen because of their uniqueness and each has something special to offer. Many of these parks require reservations especially at peak times of the year. Be sure to check out the special events that each park offers for interpretive seminars. You will find ample activity for your family. Some parks have remote camping in untouched wilderness areas. Other offer sponsored hikes through the park. Fishing is allowed at most parks but special licenses may be required. You will find everything from full RV hookups to tent pads and primitive backpack sites. National Parks are part of the American Heritage that must be visited.
