Camping in NorthCarolina

Everything from mountains to white beaches can be found in the state of North Carolina. If you are looking for a charming camping destination then you should visit NorthCarolina. If you are looking for a coastal getaway then you should visit one of the three top coastal areas at either the Crystal Coast, Cape Fear Coast or the Outer Banks. For excellent recreational adventure in the Outer Banks you should visit the Cape Hatteras National Seashore which is seventy miles of natural park. Atlantic Beach and Wilmington are two other popular destinations for those looking for the beach. A contrast to the beach is the North Carolina Mountains which offer a variety of activities including camping, hiking and biking. Like Virginia, North Carolina was one of the original thirteen colonies. The state is also home to tsome of the first European settlements in the United State. Get lost in the history and beauty of North Carolina.

A great place to start your destination search is the North Carolina State Parks page.
